A rare situation

US Bank sent me a USB device

without comments

Get it, because USB could mean U.S. Bank? Haw!

It’s a button, basically. You plug it in, press the button, and it launches a browser that takes you to the Cash Back Rewards Program webpage. That’s it.

I’m very glad that US Bank is making sufficient profit from its fee structure that it can mass-produce these things and send them to their accountholders. The plastics and circuitry aren’t environmentally friendly either, and you can guarantee that everyone who receives one will throw it away because there’s no point to it other than to show a webpage. Score!
